Clinical epizootologic indexes at sheep of the Romanov breed at the canicola fever

abstract

The canicola fever has been a problem zoonosis in the clinical implication, in the pathogenesis and in the differential diagnostics at different types of animals so far. In the Kaluga region, 334 sheep of the Romanov breed were examined. 320 sheep blood were examined by the microag¬glutination method – (RMA), 14 sheep were killed forcedly for the pathoanathomical researches). Clinical epizootologic serological and pathoanathomical researches allowed to make the diagnosis in a household that sheep have a canicola fever.

The effectiveness of specific prevention using associated vaccine against parainfluenza-3, infectious rhinotracheitis, viral diarrhea and chlamydia cattle

abstract

The article presents the results of the production test of the associated vaccine against parainfluenza-3, infectious rhinotracheitis, viral diarrhea and chlamydia of cattle in conditions of unfavorable respiratory and intestinal infections of the economy. It is established that the use of the vaccine helps to reduce the morbidity of young animals, increase its fertility and safety, which has a positive impact on the efficiency of animal husbandry.

Identification of cattle infected with tuberculosis in the state of anergy to tuberculin

abstract

The article provides results of the conducted by the authors’ researches on the identification of the infected with TB cattle in the state of anergy to the injection of intradermal tuberculin. The problem of anergy is the relevant issue within the implementation of sanitary measures in the non-free of TB farms. The animals in the state of anergy do not react to intradermal injection of tuberculin and, while remaining in the herd, are the source of infection. The authors have indicated different diagnostic methods that allow to additionally identify sick animals in non-free of TB herds. It is established that in the long-term diseased herds with wide-spread infection, sanitary measures should be carried out only by the way of full replacement of the entire livestock..

Preparation of Brucella cultures and isolation of DNA for immuno-biotechnological purposes

abstract

The article is devoted to the development of the most accessible and effective method of inactivation of Brucella melitensis. Inactivation of Brucella was performed by two methods: formalization and heating in a water bath. Cultures of the strain Brucella melitensis were obtained after serial dilution and cultured on various nutrient media. Completeness of inactivation was confirmed by the method of cultivation on nutrient media. According to the results of the study, the most accessible effective and safe method of inactivating brucella is heating them up in a water bath. To identify the nucleotide sequence of Brucella, DNA was extracted from Brucella, then the DNA sections were amplified by PCR to determine 3 genes (omp31, sp41 and p39).

Study of hepatoprotective efficiency of the preparation containing phospholipid and polysaccharide substances on the model of toxic liver disease in animals

abstract

The article presents data on the study of the efficiency of the preparation fibroline containing a complex of phosofolipid and polysaccharide substances in liver damage in laboratory animals on the background of experimental associative mycotoxicosis. It was determined that the feeding of rats with the feed contaminated with mycotoxins in the association of T-2 toxin, zearalenone and aflatoxin B1 results in the development of intoxication in animals with dominant signs of liver damage. The use of fibroline leads to a weakening of the effect of toxicants, that is demonstrated by an increase in safety of rats, changes in the body weight of animals and weakening of clinical manifestations of intoxication. Pharmacological action of the preparation leads to an improvement in biochemical homeostasis and liver functional status of experimental rats and to decrease in the intensity of lipoperoxidation and cytolysis of hepatocytes. The results of the study justify the expediency of using the preparation fibroline as detoxicant and hepatoprotector in veterinary medicine.

The use of food additives “Monocalcium phosphate” for the treatment and prevention of osteodystrophy of cattle

This research work is aimed at determining the effectiveness of the use of the mineral preparation «Monocalcium phosphate» for the treatment of alimentary osteodystrophy of dairy herd cows in the Udarnik SEC in the Novozybkovsky district of the Bryansk region. It was shown that the introduction of feed additives «Monocalcium phosphate» into the composition of the ration provides an improvement in clinical properties (erythrocytes, hemoglobin) and biochemical (total protein, albumin, total calcium, inorganic phosphorus, reserve alkalinity), blood indicators in animals of the experimental group compared to the control.

Comparative characteristic of system residual nitrogen blood serum of cows with hepatitis and hepatotes

At hepatitis and hepatosis cows investigated, along with the traditionally used biochemical tests, such indicators of system residual nitrogen as urea, creatinine and uric acid, which is practically not used in the diagnosis of liver diseases in cattle. The high diagnostic informative value of uric acid (100% of the increase in this indicator is outside the norm) in both forms, which allows us to recommend uric acid in combination with other diagnostic indicators as an informative test in diseases of the liver cattle.

Antibacterial effects of BAV of various origin and their combined action with some ?-laktamny antibiotics

Studying of antibacterial effect of some biologically active agents of vegetable and microbic origin and also their combinations to ?-laktamny antibiotics, concerning clinical isolates of gramotritsatelny bacteria Escherichia coli was carried out. The greatest antagonistic activity is shown by low-molecular ekzometabolita of Trichoderma harzianum (23–30 mm). Extract of bioflavonoids from flowers of a buckwheat is characterized by moderate antibacterial effects (9–19 mm). Growth characteristics of a bacterium positively correlated with effects of BAV and their components in bakteriostatichesky concentration 3,9 ?–?/ml (cultivation 1:256) and 1,95 ?–?/ml (cultivation 1:512) for vegetable metabolites; in bactericidal concentration 0,97 ?–?/ml (cultivation 1:1024), 0,48 ?–?/ml (cultivation 1:2048) for microbic. ?-laktamny antibiotics tsefuroksy, meropeny and to autrona are sympathetic on the combined action from ekzometabolita of Trichoderma harzianum and their active component of a ?-feniletanol. Synergetic compositions on their basis can be perspective for creation of complex antimicrobic means for application in veterinary medicine.

Technological and immunobiological aspects of manufacture of vaccine against emfymatous carbunkul

The article presents the results of cultivation of Cl. chauvoei for semi-synthetic and modified nutrient media in order to obtain a greater bacterial mass and further use in the production of vaccines against emphysematous carbuncle of cattle and small ruminants. Also, reflected the study of the harmlessness and immunogenic activity of the experimental vaccine series, on laboratory animals.

Adhesive activity of probiotic lactobacilli and opportunistic bacteria of intestine of calves in the conditions of the mixed microbial populations

The adhesion of probiotic lactobacilli in conditions of mixed populations with representatives of the opportunistic intestinal microflora of calves was investigated by light microscopy. The substrate of adhesion in the experiments was the native cattle erythrocytes (an adequate model of gut epitheliocytes). It was found that being in a mixed population, lactobacilli and opportunistic bacteria were able to reduce the adhesive properties of each other. The degree of change in the adhesion of microorganisms depended on their species (strain) belonging and quantitative ratio in the mixture. The greatest inhibitory effect on the adhesive activity of opportunistic bacteria was shown by a combination of strains Lactobacillus spp., the level of adhesion of the probiotic composition under the influence of opportunistic microbes decreased slightly.

The main features of Salmonellosis sheep for the disease control are considered in the paper, or recent emerqence of the infection mass outbreaks practically in all Azerbaycan Republic are represented the last 5–10 years is submitted. The review also describes the causes complicating Salmonellosis control? And suggests the approaches for assuming measures aimed at the infection prophylaxis and control. The actual data on resistence and persistence of the agent out of the host in the sheep productions and decontamination are noted. Most reasonable way of immunomodulators (IMD) usage in sheep industry is based upon application such IMD-Natrii nucleinas, that possess not only immunomodulating activity,but some additional useful features as well: adjuvant, adaptogenic,antiinflammatory, and antioxidative activities stimulation of growth and development, hematopoiesis stimulation ete. In this review special emphasis is made upon IMD, which meet all of the above conditions/ Use of these IMD in sheep industry allows to decrease and mortality of lambs to increase their survival as well as grows and weight, stimulated natural resistance.

Features of the dynamics of biodegradation of pelts rabbit fur

The work is devoted to the study of the features of biodegradation of fur rabbit skins during storage in violation of storage modes. Organoleptic evaluation and studies of structural damage of samples of white giant rabbit skins were carried out. The degree of structural damage of rabbit fur skins depending on the shelf life in conditions favorable for the flow of microbiological processes was revealed.

Genetic relationships between wild and domestic representatives of the genus Ovis – European mouflon (Ovis orientalis musimon) and domestic sheep (Ovis aries) were considered. As a result of polylocus genotyping using ISSR-PCR and IRAP-PCR markers, data were obtained indicating that the mouflons were more genetically heterogeneous compared to native sheep breeds both in DNA fragments flanked by inverted microsatellite repeats and fragments of long terminal repeats of endogenous retroviruses. When using IRAP-PCR and ISSR-PCR markers, the mouflons belonged to the same cluster with sheep of steppe breeds, such as Edilbay and Kalmyk. Edilbay and Kalmyk sheep breeds were the most consolidated. Karachay sheep breed localized out in the autonomous cluster, which may indicate the specificity of its formation, as well as adaptation to the conditions of the highlands..

Scientific substantiation of the use of local non-traditional fodder additives in the animal husbandry of Yakutia

abstract

The article presents the results of the research influence of local non-traditional fodder additives on the productivity of cattle and pigs in the conditions of Yakutia. A series of scientific and economic experiments were organized to study the effect of non-traditional feed additives on the productivity of farm animals. The animal feed, the products of vital activity, the milk productivity of cows when included in the diet of local non-traditional feed additives. Scientific experiments were conducted on two groups of dairy cows of the Kholmogory breed of 10 heads in each. Animals are matched according to the principle of analogs, taking into account the live weight, age, daily milk yield and fat content of milk. An experimental group of animals additionally received 0,25 kg of protein-mineral fodder supplement per day per head. In the second series of experiments, a feed additive containing 1,2 kg of sapropel per head was tested. In the third series of experiments, animals were given, in addition to the main diet zeolite hongurin deposit Honghuruu, in the winter-stable and summer period. Studies on the test zeolite deposit hongurin Khonguruu Suntar ulus in the ration of pigs was carried out in 4 months of age, the daily ration was additionally given in the calculation of 0,15 and 0,2 g/kg, taking into account the live weight of the piglets. To control the physiological condition of animals at the beginning and end of the experiments from each group in three animals the blood was examined, the clinical parameters (body temperature, respiratory rate, pulse). The animal feeds studied were of medium quality. Animals digested the nutrients of the ration well. Since the amount of feed was the same, except feed additives in-crease the digestibility coefficient of nutrients due to their inclusion in the ration. Improvement of metabolic processes in the body of animals is indicated by a positive balance of nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus. The biochemical parameters of the blood of the experimental animals were within the limits of the physiological norm. Animals have kept a good appetite. Body temperature, pulse and respiratory rate were within physiological norms. The addition of sapropel in the amount of 1,2 kg per head per day to the daily ration of cows influenced the digestibility of nutrients, increased milk production by 10,3–11,7% and milk fat content by 0.03-0.04%. Enrichment of the ration with zeolite in summer increased by 9,6–12,85% milk production. The addition of hongurin in the amount of 0,15 and 0,2 g per 1 kg of live weight of piglets increased the increase by 8,3 and 11,4%, reduces the feed consumption by 6,3–7,7%. Studies have shown that feed additives increase productivity, and also improve the quality of the products.

The use of «Dibaq» in feeding siberian purple

The article presents the results of research on the use of feed «Dibaq» in the feeding of Siberian sturgeon in the conditions of the Northern Zauralye. «Dibaq» is an energy-based feed with an optimal protein content of animal origin, and the vegetable component of the protein mainly consists of pre-gelatinized starches, the advantage of which is a very high digestibility. To prevent excessive lipids in the muscles and tissues of fish, fat content is limited. At the same time, the use of high-quality fish oil provides optimal levels of essential fatty acids necessary for good growth and health of sturgeon fish. In addition, «Dibaq» include a vitamin-mineral complex, specially designed for sturgeon. The purpose of the research was to study the efficiency and feasibility of using the «Dibaq» feed in feeding Siberian sturgeon. It was established that the gross gain in live weight of sturgeon fed «Dibaq» increased by 11,4%, profit – by 8,6%, profitability level – by 3,0%.

The effect of short-term egg cooling in the process of incubation on the dynamics of temperature changes of the bird’s embryo

The experiment determined the effect of short-term cooling on egg shell temperature and heart rate of the embryo of chickens. It is established that there is no change in heart rate if the duration of cooling is less than one minute. The effect of embryonic motility on heart rate is demonstrated. Revealed a stepwise decrease in egg shell temperature due to cooling air environment. Data are given on the duration of the decrease in the heart rate index after the end of the temperature effect on the egg. It has been established that in the thermo-contrast incubation mode, the temperature of the egg shell differs from the temperature of the embryo.

The wild coloring of the ferret, which is characteristic in nature, black-brown with a strong mask on the face. In cellular conditions in the process of domestication and selection new colors appeared Golden, pearl, pastel, obtained as a result of recessive mutation. In recent years, Amateur farms of the country had ferrets with exotic color and length of hair. The paper considers the structure of the hair cover of imported ferrets of «original» color, as well as a comparative analysis with the hair cover of breeds of standard color (breeds listed in the state register of breeding achievements).

Reproductive ability of ewes and preservation of young animals of different origin

The article presents materials of research and production experiments on the fertility, fecundity of females, safety and resistance of the offspring obtained from the use of sheep producing North Caucasian, Edilbaev, Texel and Poll Dorset breeds in North Caucasian meat-wool ewe. According to the results of lambing, fertility in all groups of North Caucasian breed queens, inseminated with rams of different genotypes, was almost the same and amounted to 94,6–96,0%. The fecundity of North Caucasian ewes inseminated by sheep of the Edilbaevskaya breed exceeded the animals from other mating options and amounted to 111,9%. The most viable were the descendants of edilbay and North Caucasian producers. The safety of the young of these groups from birth to beating from the queens was 90 and 91,6% for rams, and 90,3 and 92,3% for sunshine. In terms of bactericidal activity of blood serum, the offspring had the best results, from the producers of the North Caucasian and Edilbaevsky breeds (38,8% and 37,3%).
